There is one certainty at Pramac for 2026: his name is Toprak Razgatlioglu! Indeed, the Turk will be the new rider in the team run by Paolo Campinoti, although on the other side of the box a question remains. Who will be his teammate: Oliveira or Miller?
From a contractual point of view, Miguel has an agreement until 2026 with the Japanese manufacturer while Jack’s is expiring at the end of the season, so on paper the name is only one, namely that of the Portuguese.
The fact is that the situation is not as obvious as it seems. In the last two years Oliveira has had to deal with several injuries, so much so that this year he has missed almost half of the races.
In the standings Miguel has scored only six points in contrast to Jack’s 31, which is 25 less.
For his part, the Portuguese rider would like to remain in blue next year, despite the numerous injuries that have affected him these past two years.
Of the same opinion is Jack Miller, who has not the slightest intention of wanting to leave MotoGP, despite rumors that would see him about to settle in SBK under Yamaha colors alongside Locatelli.
At the moment Yamaha has not yet decided what to do, because a decision will be made in July, probably before Brno.
The results at the moment prove Jack right, but on the other hand the two-year contract signed last year by Oliveira has a certain priority.
The issue that could play against the Portuguese, however, are some clauses included within the contract, which require results to be achieved within a certain time limit.
A move adopted by Yamaha in order to guard against possible future choices, without having to have their hands tied.
Here, this aspect could risk playing a trick on Miguel, who is called upon to turn the tide in a 2025 season that began as uphill as ever.
Ahead of him are three races, namely Assen, Sachsenring and Brno with the goal of flipping the bank.
