Packers QB Jordan Love drops blunt quote about upcoming Lions game

The Green Bay Packers are set to face off against the Detroit Lions on “Thursday Night Football” in Week 14 NFL action.

It will be a massive game for both teams as they battle in the hotly-contested NFC North.

Jordan Love and company have a huge opportunity ahead of them. They need to take advantage of it.

Heading into Week 14, the Lions hold an 11-1 record and lead the NFC North. The Packers, on the other hand, are 9-3 and are trying to close the gap in the division race.

After being defeated at Lambeau Field by the Lions earlier this season, the Green Bay Packers will be searching for some revenge.

Before this coming week’s game against Detroit, Love spoke out with a short and blunt comment about the matchup. He’s ready to come away with a big win this week.

“We’re ready to go get a win on Thursday.”

It’s much easier to say those words than to go out and prove them. To beat the Lions, the Packers are going to need to bring their best. Detroit is not an easy team to defeat.

Over the last two weeks, Green Bay seems to be finding their rhythm. They knocked off the San Francisco 49ers by a final score of 38-10 and then followed that up with a dominant Thanksgiving night win over the Miami Dolphins by a score of 30-17.

Love will need to take care of the football, and the offense will need to take advantage of all the injuries that the Lions are dealing with.

If they can have a big night and the defense can play up to its full potential, the Packers will have a good chance at pulling off the huge road win.

All of that being said, the Green Bay Packers badly need to find a way to win this game. If they can pull through and get the victory, they’ll give themselves a fighting chance to win the division at the end of the year.

Only time will tell, but it sounds like Love and the Packers are ready to make a statement on Thursday night. Now, their play simply needs to reflect their words and confidence.
